Providers and models
- A Provider is a vendor account (OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, and more) holding your API key and defaults.
- A Model references a provider and carries per-model settings plus cost metadata.
Managed tiers or your own key
The built-in Viorant provider offers Medium and Low tiers that need no key and draw from your credit wallet. With your own key, models run directly from your machine — the key is stored in your OS credential store, never sent to Viorant, and these runs cost no credits.
